Biography
I am a French journalist and photographer from Paris. Over the years, I specialized in lifestyle and travel, with a strong interest in ecology. Handling both writing and photography, I aim to conduct each project with a strong art direction and aesthetics. Working mainly for printed publications and books, I remain very attached to print. As an independent, I collaborate with magazines, publishers, artisans, hotels and restaurants.
Journalist
Journalist graduated from the Ecole Supérieure de Journalisme de Lille, I have been working for nearly ten years with the written press, online or in print. My work includes interviews, portraits, feature articles, city guides...
Between 2011 and 2017, I was part of the team of the lifestyle Parisian magazine Vivre Paris and his local version Vivre Lyon. I became the editor-in-chief between 2016 and 2017. I also created and wrote the first two editions of the special food issues of Vivre Paris (2016 and 2017). It was a complete guide to the 300 best addresses in Paris (bistros, grocery stores, pastry shops, bars...).
Writer
Since 2015, I am an author and photographer for the book collection "Un Grand Weekend," published by Hachette Tourisme. This collection brings me to travel to various cities and regions such as Prague, Bruges, Barcelona, Montreal, Perpignan, Bourges…
I also co-wrote the guide "Vintage, fripes et récup' à Paris" published in September 2015 in the Carnets Parisiens collection of Hachette Tourisme. This book lists the best antique dealers and flea markets in Paris.
Photographer
Photography has always been part of my hobbies, but it became a professional activity in 2015 while I was on a trip to Copenhagen for the magazine Merci pour l'Adresse. The architecture and minimalist lifestyle of this city was the starting point of a path that guided me in developing my style: detail-oriented with a strong aesthetic sensibility. I should also say that it pushed my OCD with symmetry!
Since then, my photographs have been published in various publications, sometimes to illustrate my words as a journalist. The most recent examples are the city-guide "Montreal Favorites" I made for Pathport, and the book Petit Atlas Hédoniste à Tokyo, éditions du Chêne (fall 2020).
According to Merci Alfred, my Instagram account is all about slow life. I really like this idea.
